Student Activity Grant Program

WHAT:
The goal of the Student Activity Grant, establish in 2011, is to support current DHS students in achieving more from their school experience.

WHO:
Any INDIVIDUAL DHS student may apply for funding to support curricular or extra-curricular activities during their sophomore, junior or senior year. If you are a DHS GROUP looking for financial support please email us at blueandwhitefoundation@gmail.com.

WHY:
Examples of activities that may be considered for funding are: attendance to an academic conference such a speech or debate camp, sports training camp or fine art workshop, tutoring, or assistance with expenses related to extramural school activities (i.e. costuming, sports equipment, musical instruments). These are just a few examples, as applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and any monetary grant awarded will depend not only on the merit of the request, but on the number of applicants and availability of funding.

WHEN:
Student Activity Grant applications are accepted between the first day of school through October 31st each year. Recipients awarded financial support will be contact in November.
